Vanderbilt Springs Into Action
We have
Over the next month, the students will learn about taking care of the earth, plants and the season spring.
The Vanderbilt Commodores will learn to write "How to" and "All About" books. The students will create instructions and books about various topics.
We will complete our math unit about addition and subtraction and will begin learning to count money.
Please be sure that your child reads to you (or you read to your child) 20 minutes each day.
Please be sure that your child works on Compass Learning and RAZ each evening. Each student should be on level C on RAZ by the end of the school year.
The students will continue to receive Commodore patch for every twenty-five words they are able to read. Students should be able to read 100 sight words by the end of Kindergarten.
