Hello!
I have the pleasure of teaching third grade again this year with a fabulous co-teacher, Ms. Marsh in Room 207, Northwestern University! This is my 11th year of teaching...whoa! I taught first grade for five years and this will be my sixth year teaching third grade.
I graduated from Hamilton Southeastern in Fishers in 1998, then went on to DePauw University in Greencastle and graduated in 2002. I then moved to Chicago for about seven years to get a taste of the big city life! I made my way back home to Indianapolis last year. I also earned my Master of School Leadership degree from Concordia University in Chicago in 2008.
I am enthusiastic and passionate about teaching and learning. I own a house in Irvington, so if I am not doing school work, I am usually completing some sort of home improvement project, doing yard work, or organizing. I am also a big Colts fan, love reading non-work related books, and doing cute crafty things. I also love my pit bull/boxer mix rescue dog, Oliver, who is 2. He keeps me on my toes!
I am eager to use this website as a resource for parents to be involved in their child's education so I hope to keep it updated frequently!
Let's go Northwestern Wildcats!!!!
